About
The Torres restaurant seats 260 guests and has a shop selling its own products, plus a wine cellar with more than 100 Brazilian and imported labels.
Its story began in 1994 in Garibaldi, when Paulo Geremia opened Giuseppe Posto Per Mangiare. The name honoured his grandfather Giuseppe Geremia, who left the province of Vicenza, in Veneto, and arrived in Brazil in 1890. This heritage lives on in galeto al primo canto: young chicken with crisp skin and juicy meat, a speciality that carries forward the traditions of Italian immigrants in Rio Grande do Sul.
